Thank you for registering!
I am so excited to meet you at our upcoming class!
You will also get this information sent to you via email (check your junk mail if you don’t see it in your inbox) but just so you know…
I wanted to give you a bit of information so you know what to expect next. About a week before class starts you will receive an email from me with your log in information (if it is within a week of class starting keep an eye on your email and I will get it over very soon). In this email you’ll get directions on how to log into the Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class website. This is a flipped class, meaning you’ll be doing some work before we meet each week, including our first class. Before our first class you’ll have about 45 minutes to 1-hour of work to complete. This will set you up with a great foundation and in our first class we’ll be able to jump right in and get to some fun activities.
Our in-person meeting will be about 2 hours in length. Please feel free to bring any drinks or snacks with you to class (even lunch or dinner is ok). I’ll always have water and a light snack for you to nibble one as well. During our first class we will finalize our Zoom call schedule, we’ve got a decent amount of flexibility as they are online via Zoom, but they will typically be on the same day of the week as our in-person class. Zoom calls will be about an hour in length. A proposed schedule will be included with the email sent out about a week before class. We will do our best to make sure everyone is included in each Zoom call. Zoom is an online conference calling system. It is very flexible, you are able to log into a meeting with your computer or phone and participate with video and voice, or call in via phone. As well, don’t feel you and your partner need to be in the same place, you are welcome to call in separate if needed.
If you purchased the deluxe package we will meet sometime after we’ve completed Week 4 of the online learning. Typically, this meeting is to discuss and fine tune your birth plan but can be used to discuss whatever is important to you. This meeting will typically take place via Zoom, if an in-person meeting is needed please let me know and we may be able to accommodate. Any in-person meetings would likely take place in Mesa.
I’m am truly here to help you achieve the birth you deserve, so if you have any questions or are in need of additional resources please don’t hesitate to reach out. As well, if you’d like to join a wonderful group geared at pregnancy and postpartum specially in the Phoenix area check our Bellies and Babies of Metro Phoenix, we’d love to see you there.
